EPISODE 1
Based on my observation, I would
like to teach in the school environment we had just observed because even if
there are lot of unavailable facilities, maybe I cam do something to make it
feel completed in the sense that only the facilities are gone but the teacher
itself is the only one that will make use of substitute materials and places to
make learning possible. It is also part of being resourceful ad creative. In
addition, teaching profession is not about choosing the school you want to teach
with but it is your willingness to share what you have learned.
The kind of school which is
conducive to learning is a school having a complete facilities and equipments
which are very useful to enhance and develop each learner’s skills and
abilities. Similarly, a school with broader perspectives in reaching each goal
together with its mission and vision.
A multi-faceted classroom will
do. A classroom that is well-lighted and well-ventilated in order for the
learners participates in their discussion and feels comfortable during the
class.
With the use of learning
materials, and different equipment, I will make the classroom attractive and
pleasant to the eyes of the learners. The use of different furniture such as a locker
for the storage of student’s personal belonging together with the
implementation of rules can help a lot in order to be conducive to learning.
School as a literate community and environment
will serve as a spot for conducive to learning. With its complete facilities
and well-lighted and well-ventilated classroom can assist a lot to develop the
learner’s individual skills, knowledge and understanding and the assessment of
learning in real life situation.
EPISODE 2
The group based the answers on
the Analysis on our experiences when we where at their age specifically, during
our preschool and elementary days.
Yes, I also did recall what my
own experiences are when I am at their age. Roaming around the classroom,
talking and even playing with my classmates during lesson proper and not
listening to what the teacher has told. Despite of this, I tried my best too
actively participate in the class discussion same as the learners (high school)
we’ve been observed.
Every teacher who became part of
my journey in school always help me with my needs either it is physical,
emotional, social and cognitive. They helped me to improve every part of mine
when it cones in handling my emotions, having a deeper rationalization and a
good interaction with other people. It causes changes not only in my personality
but also on how to be a better person and well competent learner.
I think it is Cognitive
Development Theory which pertains to the child development in terms of
information processing conceptual resources and other aspects of brain development.
Similarly, thinking is affected by their social knowledge which is communicated
by either psychological or technical means. This will guide me as a future
educator with the proper use of instruction and assessment to boost their
capabilities.
Learners have different
characteristics and needs. Some prefer movement activities and others make
interact with their classmate to have long time in knowing each other.
Educators adjust their modes of teaching to meet the demands and needs of the
learners. Teachers provide different activities and methods to enrich students’
cognitive strategies, intellectual skills, verbal information, motor skills and
attitude. Despite of those characteristics the most important is that
interaction that exists between the learner and his instructor.
EPISODE 3
I vision myself teaching in the
3rd Year level. With the use of activities such as individual and
group report, simulations and reinforcement like pointing system in which the
application of cognitive, affective and psychomotor skills is present.
These are the rules in which I
am going to implement in the classroom:

Discipline yourself inside and outside the
classroom/ school premises.

Make involve in doing agreeable and positive
activities and reject those which can cause bad habits.
·
Always be ready during class discussion.
·
Make a good communication and collaboration with
your teacher.
I chose these rules because it will serve seed as a commencement action
to other disciplinary rules in order to have a good foundation of attitude and
behavior.
We make involve the students in
the implementation of the rules because they are the one primarily affected. In
addition, they have to be aware about the changes happening in the school
premises. It must consider the impact it can bring to the learners which
involves the classroom management and learning.
EPISODE 4
Most of the time, I felt the
unity and sense of oneness between the learners with the teacher. They are
willing to interact and participate in performing any activities with or
without the aid of anyone but tend to perform more with their learning buddy.
With the use of modern
technology can help a lot to make the learners active in which they construct
meanings and work collaboratively with their classmates and others. Also,
having feedback on any assessment which I make use of will do.
With proper use and application
of methods and assessments with respect to their individual differences to meet
their needs and demands it will serve as an encouragement that those
differences are not hindrances in any development. As well as to appreciate
what others can contribute in making learning possible it will serve as a seed
to expand knowledge.
EPISODE 5
Way back in my elementary and
high school days, my teachers used different methods and strategies regarding
to our differences in our abilities. They adjust themselves dealing with
different students. They were effective instructors because they used simple
and comprehensive words so that everybody can understand the lessons and
discussions despite of their individual differences.
As a future educator, I must
first identify what are their differences when it comes to their performance in
the class so that I can use appropriate methods to meet their needs and demands.
With the principle of individual differences, I will used different strategies
and methods like a group activity, simulations and games as well as individual
or group reports in order to meet the demands and needs of both the high and
low achievers of the class.
EPISODE 6
I am a child like a bird in a
cage where freedom was taken away. Home and school are the two places where my
life circles within during my elementary days. My parents did not allow me ne
to play outside instead I will circulate my hours staying inside our home in
studying my lessons and focus on my studies. As I grow up, I deeply understand
why they have been strict to me not only for my sake but also to teach me how
to value time and the importance of education. In that case, I experienced an
authoritative style of parenting that affects me to be social competent and to
have a greater ability.
Teacher and parents must have a
certain talk with regards to the learners. Parents should have also a heart to
heart talk with their child. More specifically, to the learner’s weakness and
spots which need help and development. There should be a clear background of
the learner in order to assess appropriate steps to help then to achieve good
changes in their attitude and behavior. I will help the parents to implement
rules that will not cause bad effects to the learners. The parents will also
help me to easily understand the reasons why are the learners acting in a
certain behavior so that I will guide then properly.
